发明名称 METHOD FOR FABRICATING SOLAR CELL
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a solar cell is provided to make a solar cell of a built-in type mounted on electronic devices by directly forming the solar cell of a nanometer size on a metal substrate or a plastic substrate like a cover or housing of a cellular phone, a cover of a personal digital assistants(PDA) or a cover of a notebook computer. CONSTITUTION: A transparent plastic substrate(20) is prepared. A transparent conductive layer is deposited on the plastic substrate and is patterned to form a transparent electrode(21). An active layer(23) in which porous titanium oxide, photosensitive dye and electrolyte are mixed is formed on the substrate including the transparent electrode. A conductive layer confronting the transparent electrode is deposited on the substrate having the active layer and is patterned to have the same type as the transparent electrode so that an opposite electrode(25) is formed. A passivation layer(29) is formed to prevent the electrolyte from being exhausted to the opposite electrode and to protect array devices. An anti-reflective coating is formed on the transparent plastic substrate to improve absorption efficiency of sunlight through a reactive ion etching(RIE) technology.
