The invention relates to a method and a device for feeding a new fiber (1) o r the like into an injection head (3) in the shortest possible time once a fir st fiber (1') that has passed through the injection head (3) has come to an end , wherein the new fiber (1) is directly prepared in front of or next to the injection head (3) in a feeding device (10). As soon as the first fiber (1') has come to an end, said feeding device (10) is moved into the area of the injection head (3) and the new fiber (1) is then rapidly inserted into the injection head (3).
