<p>A method of knitting tubular knitted fabric having a larger tube diameter when using the same needle bed width by forming a knitted fabric; by folding back a region A, a region B and a region C in the first knitted fabric of a tubular knitted fabric consisting of the first knitted fabric and a second knitted fabric at the interfaces thereof to combine the facing portion of the second knitted fabric into stacked four layers that are then locked; and by a knitting method comprising (a) the step of forming the region A with the region B and the region C in the first knitted fabric and the second knitted fabric annexed to a needle on a second needle bed, (b) the step of forming the region B in the first knitted fabric with the region A in the first knitted fabric annexed to a needle on a first needle bed and the region C in the first knitted fabric and the second knitted fabric annexed to a needle on the second needle bed, (c) the step of forming the region C in the first knitted fabric with the region A and the region B in the first knitted fabric annexed to a needle on the first needle bed and the second knitted fabric annexed to a needle on the second needle bed, and (d) the step of forming the second knitted fabric with the region A, the region B and the region C in the first knitted fabric annexed to a needle on the first needle bed.</p> |
