PURPOSE: A fixing spring is provided to achieve improved insertion force and horizontal direction coupling force of the fixing spring. CONSTITUTION: A fixing spring(30) for fixing an inner shield(20) to a shadow mask frame(16), includes a head portion(32) bent into an approximate V-shape and which has an elasticity; a neck portion(34) formed by recessing an end of the head portion in such a manner that neck portions at both ends of the head portion are opposed to each other; a shoulder(36) extended from both sides of the neck portion; and a handle portion(38) bent at and extended from an end of the shoulder. A formula H/2<H'<4H/5 is satisfied, wherein H is the height of the head portion and H' is the distance between the extended end of the shoulder to the top of the head portion.
