PURPOSE: Provided is a shoe chest having sanitary and drying performance to activate UV ray generator and hot air blowing device as required and to sterilize and dry shoes in the chest. CONSTITUTION: The shoe chest comprises an accessing sensor(2) to sense shoes and a UV ray lamp(1). When shoes are not in the chest, the chest is turned to a standby status. When shoes are in the chest, UV ray is radiated from the lamp(1) to sterilize the shoes, if temperature and humidity of the shoes are high, using a heat sensing sensor(3) and a humidity sensing sensor(4) of a sensing part(1). Simultaneously, moisture and bad smell of the shoes are removed by blowing hot and dry wind from a hot wind blower into the chest.
