<p>A lighting system suitable for chromatherapy (10) includes a plurality of light fixtures (12) mounted through walls of a tub basin (16) to project different color light into the water in the tub. The light fixtures (12) are operated by a central control unit (22) and each includes a housing having a concave internal surface. An array of light emitting diodes (78) that project different color light is mounted under a cap (48) covering one end of the housing. A lens (30) is threaded onto the opposite end of the housing from within the tub basin (16) to secure the light fixture (12) to the tub. The concave surface has the different color light projected on it, and reflects light out the light fixture (12) in mixed fashion.</p> |
