<p>A mobile oil palm trees shredder (10) having a clamp mean (34) on top of a housing (30) around a shredding drum assembly (31), presses the oil palm tree trunk against the shredding drum for a longitudinal shredding while said oil palm tree trunk (100) is shredded by knives (97) on the drum. The oil palm tree trunk to be shredded is cut to a predetermined length supported on a ramp mean to fit within said housing, preferably assisted by a slicer mean (40) having a transverse trunk cutter. The fibrous strands discharge through the space between said ramp mean and shredding drum assembly and exit out to a discharge chute (21) having discharge conveyor means.</p> |
