<p>The present invention provides a system comprising methods by which the sequence of a biologically or non-biologically derived nucleic acid can be determined without sequencing. The methods preferably compare the molecular masses of subsequences generated from the target sequence with predicted molecular masses by a database look-up step. Computer-implemented methods are provided to analyse the experimental results and to determine any sub-regions of the nucleic acid containing one or more variations.</p> |
