<p>A molded article and a fabric product which comprise a flameproofed material or which contain or/and are coated with a flameproofed material, wherein the flameproofed material comprises 100 parts by weight of a synthetic resin and 1 to 400 parts by weight of at least one flame retardant selected from the group consisting of hydrated metal compounds and heat-expandable graphite, the flame retardant being dispersed in the synthetic resin. The molded article which contains or/and is coated with the flameproofed material includes: a product produced from the flame-retardant-containing synthetic resin material; a product containing the flame-retardant-containing synthetic resin material; and a product having a surface coated with the flame-retardant-containing synthetic resin material. These flameproofed products are useful as various moldings such as a zipper or fabric products.</p>
