摘要 PURPOSE: A tripod constant velocity joint for reducing axial force is provided to reduce vibration and noise by actuating the joint actively with minimizing axial force from a shaft in increasing the joint angle, and to improve the quality by increasing driving experience. CONSTITUTION: Three track grooves including guide surfaces are arranged axially in a tripod housing(3), and a spider(5) protruding three trunnions(4) is inserted to the track grooves of the tripod housing. Needle, inner and outer rollers(6,7,8) are installed around the trunnions of the spider, and a retainer(9) and a retainer ring(10) are combined with the outer roller to prevent separation of the inner roller and the needle roller. The curved surface is formed in the center by inclining both track grooves to the central line of the trunnion, and the taper guide surfaces are formed in upper and lower parts. Noise and vibration are reduced by driving the joint actively with minimizing axial force of the shaft in increasing the joint angle.
