The wheel carrier (4) is set to a king pin angle (alpha). The actual value of alpha is determined using an angular adjuster connected to the drum. the control system (14) determines the corresponding nominal king pin angle, using a calibration function. The nominal value in the control system (14) is substituted by the actual value of the king pin angle (alpha). An Independent claim is included for the corresponding calibration equipment.
