PURPOSE: A method of mass-producing disease-free seed potatoes in an optimum root zone environment of a seed potato seedling by a nutriculture method with stem cuttings facility of the seed potatoes is provided which increases crop yield and can stably supply seed potatoes to the consumers. CONSTITUTION: The seedling of seed potatoes is planted in a nutriculture bed with a size of 100 cm long, 50 cm wide and 43 cm high, a nutritive solution continuously supplied from a nutritive solution tank installed above the ground is sprayed thereon through a nozzle to culture the planted potato seedling. Then, a lower leaf is removed with sterilized scissors and a simultaneous stems branching operation is carried out when the potato seedling is grown to a height of 10 to 15 cm from the ground, the stems branching operation is additionally carried out 2 to 5 times until the lower knot of stem cuttings reaches about 5 cm from the bottom of a culture tank. |
