The invention relates to a device (14) for injecting fine-grained solid particles into a gaseous stream (12), whereby the fine-grained solid particles are fed to the device (14) in the form of a pneumatic supply stream. The device (14) comprises an annular gap (40), through which the pneumatic supply stream exits into the gaseous stream (12). Said annular gap (40) is positioned in the gaseous stream (12) in such a way that the speed vectors (46) of the solid particles exiting the annular gap (40) are essentially perpendicular to the speed vectors (48) in the gaseous stream (12). The superposition of said speed vectors (46, 48) results in an injection stream (50), which fans out in an umbrella shape in the direction of the gaseous stream (12).
