PURPOSE: A device and method for correcting the screen of a projector are provided to extend a projection screen of the projector irrespective of a projection distance between the screen and the projector and to correct distortion of the projection screen. CONSTITUTION: A device for correcting the screen of a projector includes a key operation unit through which a user inputs correction information of an area of the screen, which requires to be corrected, and an extractor for extracting correction data from input video data according to the correction information. The screen correcting device further includes an interpolator for interpolating the input video data according to the correction data, and a video mixer for mixing the interpolated video data with the input video data.
