PURPOSE: Sealing structure for a shock absorber of a vehicle is provided to absorb impact by moving a jounce bumper against external force with fixing the jounce bumper in a cylinder cap portion, and to prevent inflow of foreign matters into the cylinder by surrounding the cylinder cap portion with the jounce bumper in breaking the dust cover. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber comprises a cylinder(1) fixed in a knuckle and filled with oil, and a damper rod(2) combined with a strut insulator(7) combined with a vehicle body(6), and inserted and drawn out of the cylinder against external force. A dust cover(9) shuts off foreign matters by surrounding with an assembling bracket(10) attached to a cap(1a) of the cylinder. A jounce bumper(8) is combined with the assembling bracket in the dust cover, and contacted to the vehicle body by surrounding the damper rod to absorb and buffer impact. The endurance of the shock absorber is improved by absorbing shock with moving the jounce bumper and preventing inflow of foreign matters.
