METHOD FOR OPERATING A GAS TURBINE HAVING SEVERAL BURNERS

The invention relates to a method for operating a gas turbine arranged in a power-generating system, comprising a source of compressed air and a combustor that is provided with a combustion chamber and several burners. A gas turbine regulator regulates actuation and deactivation of the individual burners and/or groups of burners according to a switching criterion which is proportional to the difference between the temperature of the air entering the combustion chamber and the temperature behind the combustion chamber. The inventive switching criterion fully takes into account large variations in temperature of the air entering the combustion chamber, which cause only relatively minor changes in the burner equivalent rate. The invention is particularly suitable for compressed-air energy storage power plants.
