<p>An electric power steering apparatus control apparatus includes steering auxiliary force control means for controlling a motor giving a steering auxiliary force to a steering mechanism according to a main torque input value obtained by A/D converting a main torque signal from a torque sensor, a torque input value multiplied by a gain obtained by multiplying the main torque signal by a first gain and A/D converting the obtained result, and a sub-torque signal from the torque sensor, and performs a fail safe function. In order to improve deterioration of the steering feeling generated when the voltage multiplied by the gain exceeds input of the A/D converter, there are provided a gain multiplier for multiplying the main torque input value by a second gain and switch means for switching the output of the gain multiplier and the gain multiplier torque input value for supply to the steering auxiliary force control means.</p> |
