Compounds of general formula (I), where X= a CHO, CN, CH=NOH, or CH2OH group and the C=C double bond may be either E or Z configuration are characterised by an interesting and original odour characteristic with high dispersion. Said compounds are suitable for use as fragrances, for example in cosmetic preparations, technical products or in alcoholic perfumery.
