AIR CONDITIONER USING THERMOELECTRIC MODULE

PURPOSE: An air conditioner using a thermoelectric module is provided to supply pleasant hot or cold air current for an individual in a room. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a thermoelectric module(100) having a high temperature part(110) radiating heat and a low temperature part(120) absorbing heat; a heat absorption promoting unit(200) placed on the low temperature part of the thermoelectric module to promote heat exchange with outside air; and a heat radiation promoting unit(300) placed on the high temperature part of the thermoelectric module to cool down the high temperature part and to promote heat exchange with outside air. The heat absorption promoting unit includes a heat absorbing fin member contacting with the low temperature part of the thermoelectric module to expand heat exchanging area; and a first fan placed on the heat absorbing fin member to forcibly circulate surrounding air and to blow air having exchanged heat to a user. The heat radiation promoting unit includes a cooling chamber(310) contacting with the high temperature part of the thermoelectric module, and having a channel(311) formed to allow working fluid to flow therein so as to absorb heat of the high temperature part; and a heat exchange promoting unit(320) connected with the channel of the cooling chamber to radiate heat of the working fluid heated by heat exchange with the high temperature part.
