A profile forms the interface between a building structure e.g. wall and a window frame or door frame, at which limited movement takes place. The profile base (3) is bonded to the wall by a bonding agent. The distance between the profile base and the surrounding structure is determined esp. by thickness of bonding agent (10) applied, which extends essentially to the profile bottom edge.
