The thrust reversal system consists of flaps which form part of the outer wall containing the jet flow to the rear of the engine fan when closed, and pivot to deflect the flow outwards and forwards when opened. The forward end of each flap is equipped with an inner panel (22) to smooth the flow. The panel supported by at least one lever (30,34,35) connecting it to the fixed structure of the thrust reversal system and to the opening flap. The inner panel (22) is supported by the levers so that its upper and lower faces are always parallel to the flow passing over its surfaces, regardless of the position of the flap. One of the levers (35) is pivoted at one end (37) to the panel and at the other (36) to the fixed structure. Another lever (30), in the form of a compensator bar, turns about a central pivot on the fixed structure and is connected at one end to the panel, and at the other, via an intermediate lever, (34) to the flap.
|
