<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product packaging system and a product packaging method, in which a constant amount of an additive can always be supplied to a product. <P>SOLUTION: The product packaging system having a function to add the additive to the product is equipped with a metering device, an additive supplying device, a packaging apparatus, a weight checker and a control device. The metering device distributes and supplies a predetermined quantity of the product. The additive supplying device supplies a constant amount of the additive to produce the product containing the additive. The packaging apparatus fills the distributed and supplied product and the constant amount of the additive in a packaging bag to package. The weight checker monitors the gross weight of the packaging bag and the product containing the additive. The control device controls the additive supplying device in accordance with an output of the weight checker to adjust the supplying amount of the additive so that the gross weight of the packaging bag and the product containing the additive can be a predetermined quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
