The followers above the conveyor belt (5) comprise a number of spaced apart parallel guides (8), the space between two adjacent guides being designed to receive a row of goods (4). Stops slidably mounted on the guides are used as end buffers for the separate rows of goods. A conveyor belt extends along the rows of separate supply channels (3) for the goods. The followers are moved along these channels.
