Support disk for the bearing of an OE-spinning rotor

An open-ended spinning rotor has a support disc (5) with a bearing race (41) in the rim crest (4). The race (41) gives linear support to a spinning rotor shaft and has two or grooves (3). The disc has a profile (6) around the outer rim. Around the profile grooves (3), the profile (6) is especially at a greater radial distance from the race (41) than in the zone near the grooves (3). Between the profile (6) and crest (41) the material thickness is 0.5 to 2.5 times the depth of the groove. The profile (6) consists of e.g. three club-like forms (61).
