<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controller, a printer, a print system, a print control method, a program, and a recording medium in which completion of print can be quickened by quickening completion of transfer of print data from a print controller to a printer. <P>SOLUTION: In a print system comprising a host computer 1 and a host base printer 2, the control section 9 of the host computer 1 performs control for transferring previous print data being transmitted, as non-compressed data, from an arbitrary point to the host base printer 2, and control for transferring following print data being transmitted, as compressed data, from an arbitrary point to the host base printer 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
