PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift truck capable of surely preventing a load from falling through the backside of a fork, and equipped with a backrest or a faceplate capable of securing a driver excellent visibility to the fork tip. SOLUTION: The forklift truck is equipped with the backrest 1 or the faceplate which has a flat plate shape and characterized by comprising a transparent reinforcement member 5 and a frame body 2 having an opening 3 covered with the reinforcement member 5.
