PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a noise between a flange part and an instrument panel by absorbing a body vibration by the elastic effect of a door trim. SOLUTION: In this side part mounting structure for instrument panel, flange parts 48 for supporting the tips of lateral side parts 14 extended forward from both ends of the instrument panel 10 are protrusively molded on the rear parts 47 of lateral front pillars 32, the door trims 37 are put on the flange parts, the side parts 16 are fitted in a laterally extended state to the lateral flange parts through the door trims 37, whereby the side parts of the instrument panel are mounted on the front pillars.
