PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowing device having a high degree of freedom in selection of a material for forming a dial mounting wall and easy to assemble with the minimized total number of part items. SOLUTION: This blowing device 1 comprises a cylindrical retainer 2, a resistor 3 housed in the retainer 2 to adjust the wind direction, a shut damper 4 rotatably arranged in the retainer 2 in series to the resistor 3 to adjust the wind quantity, the dial mounting wall 5 juxtaposed opposite to the side wall 22 of the retainer 2, and an operation dial 6 rotatably arranged between the side wall 2 and the dial mounting wall 5 to open and close the shut damper 4. The retainer 2 and the dial mounting wall 5 are integrated to an interior panel 9 and protruded from the rear surface of the interior panel 9 reversely to the wind direction. The operation dial 6 has a drive arm 62. The shut damper 4 has a driven arm 42. One of the drive arm 62 and the driven arm 42 has an engagement groove, and the other has an engaging projection slid within the engagement groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
