PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lengthy medium printer capable of producing a plurality of printed matters collectively in a form suitable for the application without the need of repeating a series of steps of the data input, printing and sectioning, data erasure or storage for the printing data corresponding to each printed matter in the case of producing a plurality of the printed matters. SOLUTION: The printer comprises a sectioning method changing means for changing the sectioning method for the boundary of blocks selected optionally by a user so that the boundary of the blocks is sectioned based on the sectioning method change by the sectioning method changing means.
