PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer control device and a printer control method capable of preventing the quality deterioration of subsequent image printing even when conducting concurrently cutting action to a strip of printing paper after printing, and the action of subsequent image printing in a printer with a built-in or mounted cutter. SOLUTION: In this printer control device and printer control method, a correction instructing value to offset the attitude change of printing paper generated by the printing cutting action of the cutter is instructed to a paper feed motor between just before the start of the cutting action and just after the completion of it.
