<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining method for accurately machining a prescribed shape at a specific position on a belt-like packaging material using a laser beam with scanning control. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam emitting part 11 emits a laser beam from a laser generator 9 to arbitrarily scan in two vertical X and Y directions by a driving mechanism 11a, and detector parts 8, 8' detect a printing pattern that becomes a reference position provided in the belt-like packaging material, as well as detect a predetermined starting position or machining route for laser beam machining. While a belt-like packaging material 2 is conveyed at a fixed transporting speed, the laser beam emitting part 11 and the detector parts 8, 8' possessing a means for measuring a moving distance in the XY directions measures positional deviations. A control part 10 having input of the positional deviations generates a correcting output commanding signal determined and obtained from the deviations, and controls the driving mechanism 11a of the laser beam emitting part in response to the command signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
