<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo amount calculating device, a cargo amount calculating method and its program, offering basic data for making an optimum labor resource arrangement plan for the whole components of physical distribution network system. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission/reception part 101 receives destination data from terminal devices held by consignors. The received destination data is held by a destination DB 102. A labeling part 104 refers a transportation point responsible area DB 103 and adds receipt/delivery transportation point codes to the destination data. The destination data to which the receipt/delivery transportation point codes are added is held by a receipt/delivery point coded destination DB 105. A grouping calculation part 106 calculates the amount of cargoes to be transported (the amount of cargoes by transportation routes) in each combination of the receipt/delivery point codes.
