PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed elevating apparatus which can be mounted in an existing bed and has a simple structure. SOLUTION: The bed elevating apparatus 11 comprises a part 14 fixed to a frame 15 extended in a horizontal direction of a head side or a leg side of a bed, two support parts 12, 13 combined in an X-like state, an installing part 16, a hydraulic pump 17, a foot pedal 18 for pressurizing or depressurizing the pump 17, and a hydraulic cylinder 19 for raising or lowering the support parts 12, 13 by a pressure of the pump 17. The support parts 12, 13 for constituting a linkage are lifted upward by pressing the pedal 19 and pressurizing the pump 17, and the bed 10 can be raised in a desired height. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
