PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper pivot device having simple construction for moderating or preventing the suction of water into an air-conditioner or the splash of water on a wiper without increasing the number of parts even when high water pressure is applied thereto during heavy rain, high pressure washing or shower test. SOLUTION: The wiper pivot device A comprises a pivot holder 1 for turnably supporting a pivot shaft 2 and a collar sealing body 6 formed of an elastic material and mounted at the upper end of a pivot shaft supporting barrel portion 1A of the holder 1 for sealing between the upper end of the barrel portion 1A and an opening 5 of a body exterior panel 4 in elastic contact with the barrel portion 1A and the peripheral edge of the opening 5 of the body exterior panel 4. The pivot holder 1 has a plurality of sealing body supporting protrusions 7 protruded integrally with the holder 1 for supporting the sealing body 6 upwardly in the direction of the sealing body 6.
