PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension lower arm improved in strength, while restricting increase of the weight thereof to the minimum. SOLUTION: This suspension lower arm having a fitting part in an end of an arm body formed with a rib in both sides of a thin part thereof and formed by using a forging die is provided with a swelling part 21 having a wall surface formed into a shape along a tire interference line as a boundary, with which a tire is brought in contact, in the outer surface of a rib 14A formed on a tire side when connecting.
