PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for an aircraft having excellent abrasion resistant characteristic and excellent belt durability. SOLUTION: A peripheral side of a crown part 3 of a radial carcass 2 is provided with an endless belt 4, an end belt 7 and a tread part 8 in order. A protecting layer 9 is embedded in the tread part 8, and a plurality of circumferential grooves 10 are arranged in the tread surface of the tread part 8, and a low-heat-generation type space rubber 13 is arranged in the inside part of the tread part 8 extended from an end surface 11 of the endless belt 4 to an end surface 12 of the protecting layer 9. The most outside circumferential groove 10a is arranged at the predetermined position, and a curvature radius R of the crown part of the tread part 8 pinched between both the most outside peripheral grooves 10a is set at a value in a range 1.0-2.0 times of the tread width TW. An interlayer rubber 14 having a thickness of 0.5-1.0 mm and a breakdown elongation of 330-400% is arranged between the space rubber 13 and the end surface 11 of the endless belt 4.
