PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a strong ink meniscus at the side of a dummy nozzle in an inkjet printer head having the dummy nozzle for discharging dust and bubbles set in addition to printing nozzles. SOLUTION: Pressure chambers 16 are set corresponding to a plurality of printing nozzles 15. A common ink chamber 7 for dispensing ink to the pressure chambers 16 and actuators 20 for applying a jet energy to ink in the pressure chambers 16 are set. A filter 18 is set in the middle of an ink supply path (14 and 11) which connects an ink supply source and the common ink chamber 7 each other. A bypass route (19 and 21) is extended from a route branch part P at the ink supply source side from the filter 18, with the dummy nozzle 17 formed at a terminal end. A total channel resistance Rb of a channel (b) running from the route branch part P to the dummy nozzle 17 is made equal to or larger than a total channel resistance Rc of a channel (c) running from the route branch part P via the common ink chamber 7 to the plurality of printing nozzles 15 (Rb≥Rc).
