PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the safe operation of a rocking mechanism and a lifting mechanism in a parenting apparatus provided with the rocking mechanism and lifting mechanism. SOLUTION: A rocking lock button 213 is pressed in a direction represented by an arrow P and moved from a first position to a second position. An engagement piece 214 is then fitted to a space S formed between lock plates 402 and 403 to select a state for prohibiting the rocking of a bed part 200. A lock lever 210 is rotated in direction U1 and moved from a fourth position to a third position. A rod 501 is then pressed down in a direction D by a contact piece 211. A lock block 510 is consequently moved in a direction S, lock pins 513 and 514 are pulled out from an engagement hole 4a, and the lock state by the lock pins 513 and 514 is released.
