LEAD PROTECTION MEMBER OF PROPELLING PENCIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the irregularity of lead holding force by providing a space for absorbing the irregularity of the diameter of a lead in the lead protection member of a propelling pencil having at least an elastic resin body having a profile cross-sectional shape provided to the inner surface thereof. SOLUTION: In the lead protection member of the propelling pencil having at least the elastic resin body having a through-hole formed to the inner surface of the lead protection member, the through-hole formed to the elastic resin body has a profile cross-sectional shape and the lead (JIS S 6005) for the propelling pencil is brought into contact with the inner surface of the elastic resin body at least at two or mode points when the lead pierces the through-hole and a space is provided between the lead for the propelling pencil and the elastic resin body.
