PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ultrasonic imaging device wherein a pressure sensor which detects a pressed pressure and an ultrasonic probe are integrated, and an elastic parameter is calculated by measuring the pressed pressure together with a B-mode image. SOLUTION: The pressed pressure is detected by using a probe unit 101 having a built-in pressure sensor unit 202 behind a functional element unit 201 which is a pressure-transmitting medium. In addition, a B-mode time wave-form in order to obtain B-mode image information before and after the pressing in the probe unit 101 is obtained by the functional element unit 201. Then, a distortion and a pressure on the aperture surface of the probe are obtained by an image processing unit, and elastic parameters at respective points of the B-mode image are calculated, and the image is displayed. Therefore, displaying of the elastic parameters for respective points of the B-mode image, and forming of a histionic elastic image are realized only by the information from the probe unit 101 wherein the pressure sensor unit 202 and the functional element unit 201 are integrated.
