<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method for manufacturing a trityl group-introduced polystyrene resin for peptide synthesis as is inexpensive at the manufacturing cost and easy of the reaction control owing to the one reaction from a polystyrene which is allowed to react the polystyrene resin with benzophenone dichloride or substituted benzophenone dichloride. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a trityl group-substituted polystyrene resin of the formula (III) comprises a step of reacting a polystyrene resin of formula (II) with a benzophenone dihalide-based compound of formula (I) (wherein X is hydrogen or a halogen; Y is hydrogen, a halogen, 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy; and A is a halogen element). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
