POLYACETAL RESIN COMPOSITION AND METAL INSERT MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyacetal resin composition which realizes a great improvement in the creep rupture life (creep characteristics) of a polyacetal resin in e.g. a metal insert molding by improving the toughness of a high- molecular-weight polyacetal resin and facilitating the stress relaxation thereof.

SOLUTION: The polyacetal resin composition is obtained by blending (A) a polyacetal resin having a melt index of 3 or lower with (B) 0.05-3 wt.% (in the composition) of a silicone oil, (C) 0.1-5.0 wt.% (in the composition) of an elastomer and (D) 0.1-5.0 wt.% (in the composition) of an ultrahigh-molecular- weight polyethylene.
