摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery exchange method for electric vehicle and battery mounting structure for electric vehicle capable of performing the carrying-in and carrying-out of a battery as a series of works. SOLUTION: This battery exchange method for an electric vehicle 1 for exchanging a battery 13 that is a main power source contained in a position regulated state from an old one to a new one comprises releasing the position regulation of the old battery; opening a pair of opening and closing doors 18a and 18b provided on both lateral side parts of a vehicle body 2; sliding the old battery in the vehicle lateral direction by the new battery introduced through one opened opening and closing door 18a to push the old battery out of the vehicle through the other opened opening and closing door 18b, thereby exchanging the battery; and then performing the position regulation of the new battery.
