PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine which corrects a distortion or the like and reduces stiffness by giving each treated person a suitable massage according to a body distortion, right and left unbalance and a difference in physique. SOLUTION: The massage machine has a potentiometer for detecting change of the rocking angle of a rocking arm in the reciprocating movement course of a treatment tool, a distortion detector 60 for measuring the distortion of the treated person, whom the treatment tool touches, based on the change of the rocking angle detected by the potentiometer, and a massage movement controller 63 for controlling a massage movement according to the magnitude and pattern of the distortion detected by the distortion detector 60.
