PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrator for concentrating sludge to reduce the weight thereof, a continuous pressure dehydrator for further dehydrating the concentrated sludge and a moving dehydration vehicle loaded with the continuous pressure dehydrator. SOLUTION: The rotary cylindrical concentrator (2) is vertically provided to the suction port (18) of a pressure feed pump (3), and a bent pipe-shaped pressure introducing pipe (26) is connected to the discharge port (25) of the pressure feed pump (3). A dehydration cylinder (28) is vertically provided to the rear end of the pressure introducing pipe (26) and a bent pipe-shaped compression pipe (33) having a back pressure adjusting plate (36) arranged thereto is connected to the upper end of the dehydration cylinder 28. A semi-fluidized cake reduced in weight in the concentrator (2) is transferred to the pressure dehydrator (6) having no screw blade to apply shearing action to the cake by the bending resistance of the dehydration cylinder, and the cake is compacted and dehydrated in the dehydration cylinder (28) by the compacting action due to gravity and the feed pressure of the pressure feed pump (3) and the back pressure from the compression pipe (33). Shearing action is applied to the cake in the compression pipe (33) to uniformized the irregularity of the water content of the cake. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
