<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a male connector having a core wire having a shape capable of providing a material high in elastic modulus in large quantities while leaving a sufficient space for a conductor. <P>SOLUTION: There is the possibility of bending in the male connector for a guide wire during use. In the case of this inventive male connector 1, the material high in elastic modulus can be provided within the male connector 1 in larger quantities to more enhance the bending resistance of the male connector 1. The male connector 1 is equipped with the core wire 3, a plurality of conductive members 4 longitudinally parted along the core wire 3 and a plurality of conductors 5 arranged along the core wire 3, and the conductors 5 are respectively connected to the conductive members 4. The shape of the core wire 3 is provided with at least one longitudinal cavity to protect the male connector 1 so that the longitudinal cavity is not almost damaged and the conductors 5 arranged in the cavity are not damaged when the male connector 1 is bent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
