PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically controlled vehicular brake system having a more simplified general system construction by improving valves and passage structures. SOLUTION: The electronically controlled vehicular brake system comprises a first check valve 71 provided on the upstream side of an oil suction passage 70 for guiding oil from a master cylinder 12 to an inlet of a pump 30 in a TCS mode and a second check valve 91 provided in a hydraulic pressure supply passage 90 for guiding hydraulic pressure from a medium pressure accumulator 40 via the oil suction passage 70 to the inlet of the pump 30 in an ESP mode. The more simplified control of the general brake system is allowed by constructing the valves in the oil suction passage 70 and the hydraulic pressure supply passage 90 as the mechanically operated check valves 71, 91 and a hydraulic block is constructed to be compact, reducing the manufacturing cost.
