PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth diaper that is more wear resistant than one made of a 100% cotton fabric, eliminates defective phenomena including blackening, residual smelling, static electricity and the like as seen in one made of a fabric blended with a synthetic fiber such as a polyester or the like and is more absorptive. SOLUTION: A crotch pad body 4 is sewn, using warp yarns in which a few warp yarns 2 made of blended yarns of cotton and synthetic fibers are interposed between many cotton warp yarns 1 and cotton weft yarns 3, and a narrow-breadth wear resistant strip 6 made of warp yarns 5 of cotton-synthetic fiber blended yarns is provided in both right and left edges of the crotch pad body 4.
