<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent for cultured laver capable of exterminating diseases such as Pythium sp., white rot injuries or Olpidiposis sp. or miscellaneous algae such as diatoms in the cultured laver without adversely affecting the surrounding environment or laver leaf bodies even at a high pH value of the treating liquid, a treating liquid for the cultured laver, and a method for treating the cultured laver. <P>SOLUTION: The treating agent comprises ≥9 and <27 wt.% of lactic acid as an active ingredient and ≤50 wt.% of an acid ingredient other than the lactic acid. The treating liquid comprises ≥0.09 and <0.27 wt.% of the lactic acid as the active ingredient and ≤0.5 wt.% of an acid ingredient other than the lactic acid. The method for treating the cultured laver comprises bringing the laver or a culturing tool such as a laver net to which the laver sticks into contact with the treating liquid for a required time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
