DAMPER DRIVE MECHANISM FOR HEATER CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a damper drive mechanism for heater control capable of eliminating the loss of operating force and cable stroke and reducing the sliding resistance and cost by abolishing a conventional link in a pull-pull type heater control to be remotely controlled by two cables.

SOLUTION: In this damper drive mechanism for vehicular heater control comprising a damper 10 for adjusting the air quantity carried in a duct and a pulley 13 remotely controlled by a double-line type cable 14 for driving the damper 10, the shaft 19 of the damper 10 supported by a bearing 22 provided on the wall 21 of the duct is connected to the shaft 17 of the pulley 13 supported on a base 12 mounted on the wall 21 of the duct by fitting type connecting method.
